## Number versus choice

8,000 companies is a big number, but the page asks only for your profession, region and "number of companies", and does not say you choose the companies yourself [1]. On Badali you choose the companies by the industry you want, and you know where each email went.

Some services sell sending your CV to thousands of companies without mentioning on their page a report on whether each email was delivered or bounced [1][2]. In the list shown on one of these services' pages, 9% of the addresses are on Gmail, Hotmail and Yahoo, not company email, and 11 addresses are at domains containing an underscore (_), which is not allowed in domain names [5].
