# Workday Application Status Meanings: Under Review, In Process and More

Your Workday status tells you where your application stands at the company: "Under Review" or "In Process" means it is still open, and "No Longer Under Consideration" means the company will not continue with your application for this job. The exact labels differ from company to company, because each company configures its own Workday system.

## What is Workday?

Workday is a hiring and HR system used by many large companies, including companies in Saudi Arabia. When you apply to a job at a company that uses it, you create a candidate account on that company's careers site and track your applications from "Candidate Home" or "My Applications" [1].

Important: the account is per company. Your account at one company does not work at another company on the same system.

## Status table and meanings

These are common examples of status labels on Workday candidate pages; each company can rename them or hide some:

| Status as shown | Meaning | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Submitted / Application Received | The application reached the company | Nothing. Check that the confirmation email arrived |
| Under Review / In Review | The application is open and waiting for or under review | Wait, and keep applying to other jobs |
| In Process / Under Consideration | You are still among the candidates for this job | Wait. You may be contacted for an interview or test |
| Interview / Assessment | The company wants you to complete an interview or test step | Watch your email and phone, and reply quickly |
| Offer | The company is preparing or has sent an offer | Review the offer in your email or account |
| No Longer Under Consideration / Not Selected | The company will not continue with your application for this job | Apply to other jobs, at the same company or elsewhere |
| Withdrawn | The application was withdrawn (by you, or cancelled) | If you did not withdraw it, contact the company |
| Job Posting Closed / Inactive | The posting was closed or paused | The status may never update. Apply to other jobs |

## How long does each status last?

There is no fixed time. The status changes when the company's hiring team changes it, and some companies never update it after a posting closes. So a long time on "In Process" does not necessarily mean rejection or acceptance.

## When should you contact the company?

- If the status is "Interview" or "Assessment" and nothing reached you, check your spam folder, then get in touch.
- If you have a recruiter's name or an official email in the posting, send one short follow-up one to two weeks after applying.
- Do not send repeated follow-ups on the same application.

## How to track applications across many companies

Each company on Workday has its own site and account, so applying to 20 companies means 20 accounts. Badali fills in the application and submits it on the company's own hiring system, Workday included, and handles the verification codes these systems send by email. You choose each job, and you see every application in your Badali account.

## FAQ

### Why has my application been "In Process" for a month?
Because the hiring team changes the status by hand, and some companies never update it. The application may still be under review, or the job may have stopped without an update. Do not wait; keep applying to other jobs.

### Does "No longer under consideration" mean rejected?
It means the company will not continue with your application for this specific job. You can apply to other jobs at the same company.

### Can I use one Workday account for every company?
No. Each company has its own careers site and account, even when they all use Workday.

### Can I edit my application after submitting?
Usually not. Some companies let you withdraw, and then you apply again if the posting is still open.
