Jadarat: How to Apply for Jobs Step by Step
You apply on Jadarat yourself: you log in through Nafath, create a professional profile, then search for the job and press "Apply" [1]. The service is free according to the Human Resources Development Fund's page, and its conditions include being Saudi and having a professional profile on Jadarat [1].
Logging in
You log in to Jadarat through Nafath [1]. Your Nafath account is personal, so do not give its details to anyone, including any service that says it applies for you on Jadarat.
The professional profile
After logging in, create a professional profile [1]. Add your experience, professional certificates and licences from the CV section; if you cannot upload a course, HRDF says you can open a technical ticket from the "Contact us" icon [1]. The more complete your profile, the better it matches jobs.
Applying
The steps as on HRDF's page [1]:
- Log in through Nafath.
- Create a professional profile.
- Go to "Browse data and services" in the side menu.
- Search for jobs on the "Browse jobs and announcements" page, using filters such as city, title and employer.
- Press "Apply".
Private sector jobs: apply from the job card or from its details page with the "Apply" button [1].
Public sector jobs: open the announcement, select every job in it that suits you, then rank them by priority and confirm. The order matters because your first choice is considered first [1]. To apply for public sector jobs, your educational qualification must be verified first [1].
Tracking applications
All your applications and their status are on the "Jobs applied for" screen in the side menu [1]. You can cancel a public sector application, but a private sector application cannot currently be cancelled after you submit it, according to HRDF's page [1].
SMS messages
Jadarat sends text messages when jobs matching your profile are available [1]. If an employer is interested in your application, it sends you an interview request through the platform, and you get a notification by SMS and email [1].
Jadarat and Badali
Badali does not apply on Jadarat, because login is through Nafath, which is personal to you. You apply on Jadarat yourself; Badali applies for you to jobs on companies' hiring systems outside Jadarat, such as Oracle, Workday and SuccessFactors, and emails the companies you choose by industry. You can use both together.
