How to Email HR for a Job in Saudi Arabia

Send your CV to the official hiring address listed on the company's own website, with a subject that names the job and you, a short body of 4 to 6 lines, and one PDF attachment. If there is no reply, follow up once after about a week, and never resend to the same address every day.

Where do you find the official hiring email?

Start from the company's own website, not from lists published online:

1. Open the "Careers", "Jobs" or "Join us" page on the company's site.
2. If the page sends you to a hiring system such as Workday, Oracle or SuccessFactors, apply there. An email does not replace it.
3. If the page lists a hiring email (often careers@, jobs@ or hr@ on the company's domain), that is the right address.
4. Check the "Contact us" page and the company's official job posts on its verified accounts.

An official address sits on the company's own domain, not on Gmail or Hotmail.

The subject line

The subject is the first thing a recruiter sees. Keep it clear and short:

• "Application: Accountant, [Your Name]"
• If the posting has a job number, add it: "Application for job 1234: Accountant, [Your Name]"

Avoid empty subjects like "CV" or "Hello".

The email body (Arabic and English template)

Arabic:

Attachments

• One file, in PDF.
• Name the file with your name and title: "Ahmed-Ali-Accountant-CV.pdf".
• Do not send a download link instead of the file, and no zipped files.
• Attach certificates only if the posting asks for them.

When to follow up

If there is no reply, send one short follow-up after about a week, in the same thread as your first email. Two lines are enough: "I am following up on my application for [Title] sent on [date], and I am still interested." Then move on to other companies.

Why does your email bounce?

An email bounces (comes back with an error) for reasons such as:

• The address does not exist or has a typo.
• The address is old and the company closed it.
• The company mailbox is full or rejects large attachments.
• Many emails sent from one account in a short time. Google publishes sender guidelines that ask senders to authenticate their mail and keep spam complaint rates low, and mail that does not comply can be rejected or sent to spam [1].

That is why sending from ready-made lists with old addresses raises bounces.

How to track where your email went

If you send from your personal mailbox, keep a sheet: company, address, date, bounced or not, replied or not. A bounce reaches your inbox as a message; a delivered email with no reply shows you nothing.
